Coronation days in Bratislava

The Bratislava Coronation Days program series awaits visitors with a variety of programs on July 25-27, 2025. For the event, we are organizing a one-day trip from Budapest on July 26 with the Continental Classic Express special train. This year, the Bratislava Coronation Days commemorate the coronation of Karoly III, who was crowned King of Hungary in Bratislava on 1712. Our trip begins early in the morning at Budapest-Keleti Railway Station. After taking your seats, we will present the day’s program. In addition to Budapest-Keleti Railway Station, you can also join the trip at Vác station. Our train runs to Bratislava Main Railway Station. Our guests will have free time in the city until the return trip. When planning your individual program, please find out about the opening hours and prices of the fairs, museums, lookouts, lifts and other attractions you wish to visit. Please check the expected weather before your trip and dress accordingly.

The journey in the 42-seat first-class Pullman carriages, equipped with two- and four-seater reclining armchairs, becomes a real experience. Each cabin has a window and a full table, so guests can pass the time of the trip with a card or board game party. Pullman class tickets include free seat selection, a mineral water and a welcome and farewell gift		In addition to the services included in the price of Pullman tickets, Pullman First tickets include a welcome champagne, a breakfast served on the way there, a dinner served on the way back, as well as mineral water, soft drinks, hot drinks. Food and drinks are served in the seats by the car’s dedicated wait staff.

Continental Dining Car		Continental Salon Z
It was originally a Trans Europe Express (TEE) dining car, equipped with all the luxuries of the 1960s then available. The TEE trains were the forerunners of today’s EuroCity trains, connecting the major cities of Western Europe by providing special services. The dining car is open for guests during the entire trip with an a la carte menu suitable for the time of day, which includes both meat and vegetarian dishes. The meals served in the dining car are always prepared by our chef on the train from the freshest ingredients.		The Continental Salonz bar car, as the train’s social point, is an excellent place to get to know our fellow passengers and make new friends. We await our guests with a wide selection of drinks in the bar during the entire trip.
