Our journey begins early in the morning at Budapest-Keleti railway station. After taking the seats, we will present the day’s program. On the train, we share interesting stories about our destinations.
On the way, we make a four-hour stop in Austria’s third most populous city, Linz, where guests have free time and an optional program:
A) Sightseeing in Linz (approx. 2 hours): price soon (No tickets. Minimum number of people: 40 people) Getting to know Linz’s cultural and historical attractions. Traveling by light train.
From Linz, our train heads north towards Ceske Budejovice, where we arrive in the evening. The city acquired its magnificent buildings and former wealth as a free royal city. Ceske Budejovice is one of the largest cities in South Bohemia, which still managed to preserve its small-town atmosphere with all its charm. After arrival, we travel by bus to the accommodation close to the city center. | | Breakfast at the hotels, then a bus trip to Cesky Krumlov. On the banks of the Vltava River, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and winds its way through a small picturesque town, the old-fashioned, wonderful bourgeois houses, crooked streets, romantic alleys, a baroque castle theater, a castle, restaurants, and cafes await visitors. Our guests can spend their time individually in the town. In the afternoon we travel back to Ceske Budejovice by bus.
C) Sightseeing walk, castle visit in Cesky Krumlov. Price coming soon

Day 2 (Friday 18 October 2024) | | Day 4 (Sunday, October 20, 2024) |
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we will take part in a walking tour of the city, during which we will visit the most important monuments of the city: Főtér, Sámson well, Black Tower, St. Nicholas Church, Virgin Mary Church, Iron Virgin Tower. The program also recalls the well-known figure of Svejk from literature, while beer culture fans will be reminded of the now world-famous Budweiser beer, which is still produced here today.

B) Bus trip to Hluboka: price soon (Half-day program. Minimum number of people: 40 people)
Visiting the Hluboká castle, which has been preserved in an incomparably beautiful state, sightseeing Originally built in the XIII. The castle, built in the 19th century, was rebuilt by the Schwarzenbergs in a neo-Gothic style, modeled after Windsor Castle. Magnificent porcelain, paintings, and furniture can be seen in the castle. At the end of the program, we will travel back to Ceske Budejovice by bus. | | After breakfast, transfer to the train station, then return home with the Continental Explorer to Budapest. Community programs, a dining car and a bar car are available on the train. Landing option in Győr and Budapest.
