Changes in the traffic of RegioJet EuroCity trains running between Budapest and Prague

Serious railway accident occurred near the city of Pardubice in the Czech Republic during the night. For this reason, changes are expected in the traffic of RegioJet EuroCity trains between Budapest - Prague and Prague - Budapest.
Passengers with a valid ticket will receive information from RegioJet via SMS or e-mail about changes affecting their journeys.

Extraordinary renovation

Dear Passengers!
The extraordinary renovation of the section of the Budapest-Hegyeshalom main railway line between Biatorbágy and Szárliget will begin on September 18. From 18 September to 26 October, longer journey times should be expected for RegioJet EuroCity trains 1032, 1036 on route Budapest - Vienna - Prague and RegioJet EuroCity trains on route Prague - Vienna - Budapest. We apologize for the inconvenience might caused by the delays and we ask for your patience! Thank You!
The track closure will continue with another phase from October 27, about which we will provide further information later.
Replacement buses run instead of REGIOJET trains between Budapest and Győr

Due to an extraordinary renovation there will be train replacement bus service of the Budapest-Hegyeshalom main railway line between Győr and Budapest-Kelenföld. The replacement bus service will starts with train 1035 on 26th of October 2023 till train 1032 on 18th of November 2023. Budapest-Déli pályaudvar will not be served.
